The whole "no serving people who are hammered" rule needs to be enforced more. So many times at a pub you'll see someone stagger up to the bar and somehow get served.

Good luck enforcing that - it may well cost you your job

how so? if its the law and the manager is caught doing this or forcing his/her staff to serve someone who is over the top, wouldn't they lose their liquor licence ?

Given most employees are casual anyone who steps out of line would get the sorry we dont have work for you anymore or a reduction in hours until you quit

Yeah...id probably socialise with him outside of work if it wasnt for the whinging...i dont think i could stop myself from telling him to shut the **** up if id had a couple of Bundys

My wife makes fun of me because (among other things) as soon as I walk in the door, I undress and quickly put on my pyjamas and socks. I wear socks because I can't stand being barefoot for some unknown reason.
