Three jobs, actually. We don't have a nickname for her though. Boy am I glad she isn't in today, I don't think I could handle her first day back after a long weekend.

The Bedge wrote:After applying for the Ingle Farm A grade coaching position back in August, and not hearing anything from them for 5 weeks, finally got a call yesterday afternoon from the footy director/chairman.
He had a "proposal/vision" that in his words he felt was "the next stepping stone towards being an A grade coach" (bearing in mind I've coached the B grade last 5yrs and been A grade assistant).. ok no worries, what's your proposal champ..
"I want you to coach the C grade, and train them on a different night to the main group with the U16 kids"
Someone please explain to me how this is a step closer to an A grade role??
Then I asked, well what about the current C grade coach, have you spoken to him - "He's probably going to coach the B grade"
Don't know whether to laugh or cry lol.
Sad part is I've actually given it some thought today even though I suspect the reasoning behind the idea is so they have a babysitter to take the very ordinary lower end C graders away so they don't have to deal with them, while also keeping most their top end playing group that would've quit or left with me.

Not sure Booney would be aware of the fact that the General is coaching the Farmers
