9 new COVID cases in SA today. Currently 30 active in the COVID hotel.

India just set a new record, 312,731 cases in a day, the highest tally of any nation in one day since the pandemic began.

Maybe stop planes from India for a little bit, yeah?

Was only a matter of time before India exploded given their population and vast economic demographic

BREAKING: Scott Morrison says there will be a reduction by 30% of direct flights from India into Australia (Sydney). Aussies travelling TO India, will only be able to do so in extenuating circumstances.

Why would anyone think any different since it doesnt cure you? It also doesnt stop you getting it and it doesnt stop you passing it on, tell me again why we need to have it if it does absolutely nothing?? Its experimental at best.
There has been more deaths in Australia this year from the vaccine than there has been from covid, yet the sheep are still lining up for it, mind you alot are starting to wake up and the uptake hasnt been anywhere near the level they hoped. I think there is an "outbreak" due any moment now to get the ones that are just starting to doubt it to roll up their sleeves.
The seed was sown by Spurrier today with statements like "im on knife edge" we are at the highest levels of infection since the Parafield cluster in Novemeber. Lockdown coming

Given that more people have been vaccinated in Australia than who actually had COVID in 2020 proves the safety of the getting the jab in terms of death rate.

So your argument on complications due to the vaccine is flawed.

Umm, excuse my ignorance but why only 30%? With what’s happening over there, it should be a complete block out for flights coming from India for quite some time.

Ridiculous isn’t it.
We don’t let people in from countries where they have bugger all cases but the country with the biggest problem of Covid is free to come and go.
