Especially considering they have no proof the fish was rotten

I remember when I was 15 working at foodland we use to catch people all the time who regularly come in after the event and claim things about their recipets and food etc

Not saying fisho is doing that but that does happen pretty regularly

To me it's the same as getting a faulty TV. You are entitled to either exchange or refund, not both.

I obviously read it differently.

I read it as she took the fish because she wasn't offered the opportunity of a refund.

I mentioned to the manager at Woolies Mawson Lakes one day that they should be more observant with stock rotation with their yoghurt as I bought 2 for $8 and the due dates were nearly a month apart, it was my fault for not checking and then for eating the wrong one first, I was just pointing it out to him.
With limited proof he let me get another 2 and refunded me, I would've been happy with a "no worries, sorry mate".

I know the 'Big Two' often give refunds and/or exchanges without much proof. I was told is was pretty much a 'goodwill gesture' to the public.

I once bought 15 wicked wings from Elizabeth KFC only to find when I got home that there were only 13 pieces in there, I rang them and they told me to come back and they'll sort it out for me.
I took the 15 minute journey back there, went to the counter and explained myself again, they gave me the 2 pieces I was short, I don't think I'm welcome there anymore.

And their spiel on being the fresh food people, I wouldn't do it for self gain, I'd only be honest.

Honesty is the best policy, me thinks.

I'd hate for someone to eat or drink out-of-date or spoiled products.

Here's an Elizabeth KFC story for ya....

One night there was a big drive thru line up. When the car in front of me got to the window, they asked her to park and they'd bring it out to her.

I thought, ah shit, Im gonna have to wait too, but to my surprise, they must've had what I ordered available, and what she ordered must have been cooking.

Anyway, as I pull out of the drive thru, I saw the lady who was in front of me was parked facing the drive thru, with her window down. She must've seen them hand me my meal, because as soon as I drove past I hear this god awful screech of....

Rotund lady in clapped out Commodore - "Where's my F**KIN' CHICKEN!!??"

I slowed down a bit just to catch the rest

Rotund lady in clapped out Commodore - "This c**t gets his f**kin chicken!"

HH3 to himself - "Ha, f**kin scumbag bitch!"

I've only been to the HJ's across from the shopping centre twice but both times I've seen people going up to the counter with half eaten burgers complaining asking for a replacement. I would be curious as to how many times a day they try it on.

@Footy Chick

I'm pretty relaxed to be honest. See how we go on the day though. Will be happy once its over.. Only really having a big thing for her. I'd be happy just changing our FB relationship status while my playstations loading... ;) would be much cheaper.
