Best place to eat is Del Gornios facing the beach near the ANZ bank. Roos pub is nice place to stay and has good food

And how many get up, straight in the shower and out the front door within 20 mins?

I only ask because my missus gets up at least an hour before she has to leave and im up at 7.30 and in the car by 7.50 at the latest.

Usually up 6.15-6.45
First thing is have a glass of water.
Do something for 30-45 minutes - run, some other exercise, water veggies or read.
Always have breakfast.
Luckily only takes 5 minutes to work, and can start at 8.30 during summer.

Is every kid under the age of 2 absolutely petrified of santa? We took the little nuggets and mini NG, whose almost 18 months old, started screaming and trying to hide from the jolly fat man. Little Miss at around the same age had an identical reaction.
After speaking to other parents they have had similar episodes with their kids too and it seems to be uniform.

now i do understand why a big fat man with a dirty great beard telling kids to sit on his lap would be scary but has anyones kids not reacted like this?
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

After making myself sandwiches for the day... bacon, eggs, tea & coffee for breakfast... Watering all the pots in the garden....safe to say my pre-work routine isn't a quick one.

Used to be a ten-minute guy.

X2

When I was younger I'd be up, through the shower and out the door well within 20 min, sometimes closer to 10. (often after less than 5 hours sleep)

Now I get up, a quick browse on here, then usually I head out for a 25-45 min bike ride, get home, cool down for at least 20 min before I have a shower then head to work, the days I ride my bike to work I'm usually gone within 40 min but I have my shower when I get to work.

I set my alarm for 620, press snooze 2 maybe 3 times
get up, stand in shower for 10 mins
get dressed then drive to work.

if I didn't stay up till 12 every night, I might think about getting up earlier.

but nahhhhhhh

I keep trying to retrain myself to going to bed before midnight too, but without much success.
Fortunately, these days I don't have to get up before 8am.

my wife gets up at 4.15 for her job, so my body has trained itself to not wake up when her alarm goes off (we made sure it was a different sound to mine) :D
