I remember in primary school (late 90s) we would watch it, pick a horse out of the hat and get a Mars Bar or the like if we were the lucky winner. Loved it.
No such fun anymore. Participating in a sweep turns you into a lifelong gambling addict and watching a horse race is a sin. Harmless fun is hard to have these days.
