That's right.
Geelong don't get 50,000 for starters. They don't play test cricket on there oval and they could use the extra people at the ground.
As I mentioned also it's about logistics. Without going into too many specifics there isn't anywhere to put the teams that would play before and after without conflicting with agreements already in place.
I'd love to see the Port or Crows reserves play before the AFL variety even if it was an hour before but I can't see it happening in the near future.

What's wrong with the change rooms under the western stand? and there usually has been a curtain raiser before the port home games this season

We were under the western stand - change rooms were sufficent but clearly for cricket as there was only one bench and it was designed for basketballers to stand at.
Give me Footy Park for this type of thing anyday.

What other than the change rooms failed to meet expectations? What about footy park was different?
Not trying to argue just interested.

Dare I say it, there is such a thing as "enough is enough" when it comes to porn?

What Heater said and as what I said above, the oval staff and rude and treat you like 5 year olds, they even threatened to charge our waterboy normal price to get into the ground because he lost his ticket and then I got the lecture (not sure why) about keeping tickets secure so this doesn't happen again.
Then after quarter time, we were told we could only have one bench for our players to sit on in the bench area because the AFL teams require the other 3. What, they require them right now?! At least at Footy Park, there were enough bench space so that the AFL teams and TV folk were happy to set up around us.
AO wouldn't even open the car park until 9am. Our game started at 9am, therefore I had to cart a shitload of medical gear all the way over from Uni oval because the arseholes wouldn't open the car park an hour earlier for anyone involved in the early game.
