Be careful with your reviews mate, the masses are pretty sensitive about their Pups ;)

$4.50 and if they like you they pack them. Also they do awesome spring rolls.

I heeded your advice & gave them a crack - glad I did, bloody beautiful!

Hang Bakery Torrensville, combo or chicken. Convenient for me, but best to order, go do some shopping and come back to pick up waiting times do vary. Consistently good. A crackling lovers delight.

Will travel for my new favourite, C.T. Bakery at Croydon Foodland on South Rd, Hawker St corner. Chicken only though, don't like the Pork there. Tingle of the chirri still on my tongue from lunch today.

It used to be a short cut I would use to get to work at Semaphore on a Saturday morning. Always seemed busy but **** me is there some dodgy driving and parking going on around that shop.

I will give it a crack in the next week or two

My missus rates the Torrens Island Market as having her favourite breeder, so she grabbed me one today to sample. Roll had no crunch, felt like it was a day old so "OK" but nothing special. Salad was good, particularly the Corri which was as good as I've tasted. The Pok wasn't your usual roast sort of meat, was more like Pok Fritters or something with no crackle. Good even spread of Chirri. But no Pate!!! Wtf!!?!

Overall it was certainly edible, but felt like a food court kinda meal .. 2.5/5

WARNING WARNING WARNING
Shit dog roll alert

Cnr of Bath St & Partridge St - Glenelg South (formerly Cherry Blossom sushi)
Ordered 2 combination rolls with the lot
The meat consisted of roast pork, BBQ pork (there was no difference), satay chicken & BBQ chicken (dry as a nun's .......) and flavourless. There was no crackling but plenty of shitty fat.
It was placed into a plastic Chinese takeaway style container which had already been used & then weighed - yep, weighed. Then it was zapped in the microwave. This process was then repeated for the second roll, I mean, why wouldn't you do both at once to save time???
The salad was carrot, coriander, lettuce (wtf?) & cucumber. This was placed onto the roll first - wrong. The meat should go on first.
There was no butter or pate on the roll - nothing.
So after watching the incorrect construction of mine & the wife's lunch, it came as no surprise that there was one more "ripper" install for me.
A meek splash of soy with a token shake of pepper & salt was then capped off with - wait for it..... mayonnaise!
Yep, this clueless woman squeezed it liberally over the top like you would mustard on a hot dog. Only mustard does actually belongs on a hot dog, I've never, EVER encountered mayo on Vietnamese combo roll. I was too gobsmacked at what I had just witnessed to say anything. A small part of me actually was urging me to rush home to see what it tasted like.
Maybe Lenny could tell you - but she's my Kelpie.

Tried Fulham Gardens Bakery yesterday .. If not for the ridiculous amount of fat, it would go close to the perfect Pup.
