Yeah we felt that one again in Spalding. (25minutes south of Jamestown)

Feels like we are getting one every couple of months now.

They started off being low 2's now we are seeing them as a big as 4's like last week.

Agree, something big is on its way.

Gee whizz, It's only a matter of time before a quake starts up there and rips the state into 2 pieces

Yep felt that one as well.

Just hoping that lots of little ones mean nothing huge is coming.

Extremely unlikely to have a big one like NZ, Japan, Indonesia, the Americas and other places on the edge of tectonic plates as we're in the middle of a plate.
While fault lines cause a lot of earth quakes they rarely cause the same sort of magnitude of quakes as being on the edge of tectonic plates do.

Surprised to see a 4.8 and 4.9 in the last 3 years on the list.

Surprised at the frequency of them. I've lived in the Adelaide Hills for almost 50 years & can really only remember about 10 of them & where I was. Probably the loudest & longest one I remember is the 2010 Mt Barker one that hit in the middle of the night. I've actually been on the phone to the wife during a couple of them.
