Hate this shit,
I hate being cold,
I hate being wet, unless it's tropical rain,
my arthritis in my neck & foot hate this shit too,
can't wait for Palm Cove in 2 weeks.

Not long enough, just a week.

It’s perfect timing. Lots of crops need nutrition about now so heaps of urea has gone out the last few days which needs at least 5-10mm to wash it in.
The big test will come later when the days are longer, temperatures increase and the crops are a lot bigger therefore needing a lot more moisture. The outlook is horrible but so far it’s been perfect.

I really like reading your posts about the trials and tribulations about working off the land, DD - the good and the bad.
gives lots of insight to us city slickers, most of which wouldn't know what you guys really endure to make a buck.

Work just organised a trip to Canberra for the last week of July.

If you got away with an average harvest would you take that???
Most up here are saying that would do them just fine if it pans out that way.
