I havent done footy tipping for 15 years.

Great watching neutral games & not being invested in who wins.

I'm in about 6 tipping comps but only one that's a paid up comp and that one is money for jam.

$35 to go in it, a free schooner when you put your tips on, beat the boss and get a free pint, get 9/9 and get a $20 pub voucher.

I've had two schooners and a pint already and got 5 on the weekend so should beat the boss with that.

6 years of Adam/iiNet, first real problem.

Got home on Thursday after work, no internet. Thought my brother in law, who was staying with us, had f**ked it, since he has before. After accusing him (I still dont feel bad), I went to bed.

I called iiNet on Friday. That guy seemed helpful. Told me he'd call back in 15 mins once he'd fixed it. I left it the rest of the day, knowing they rarely call back on time.

Left for Clare on Saturday morning. Still no internet. The Mrs calls them on Monday morning. Now they tell her they switched it off on purpose on Thursday, because the lines they rent from Telstra are only for NBN now, and we can't have our Naked ADSL.

So now we have to wait a week for the new modem, and a technician to install it.

Did I mention Friday morning was the MLB Opening Day, and I had to watch it on my phone. I'd been hanging for it for it for a month.

My debit card being hacked again, second time in 12 months - different cards!
I’ll get the money back eventually, it’s just the head-f#cks associated with going into a branch, filling out forms, withdrawing over the counter etc...

Via an atm or internet banking?

Ouch! I've only ever been stung with Woolworths Rewards card scandal last year, that really hurt.

That’s the best thing about having a credit card. It’s not my money at risk.

Actually had a good experience with ANZ

They rang me to ask whether I made a purchase for 80 cents. Which I didn’t.

So they canceled my card, but because I have Apple Pay they switched the payment details from their end so I’ve been able to use my phone to pay for things (like I always do) even though I don’t have my new card yet.

I’ve kept a list of direct debits for a couple of years now so I’ll have to go change them over but other than that it’s actually been fine

The youths down south running amok, need some serious punishments to be dealt out, including punishing the parents. Just as bad as the Sudanese youths in Melbourne.

The party was in a housing trust home & the parents were aware of it. A 10 year old should not be out after dark.
If they're in state care then the state are the parents & need to be held accountable. If that means forcing these kids to be curfewed then so be it.
