Sorry, but this is a sore point with me in a lot of scenarios, I know chicks that don't work but put their kids in childcare because it costs f*** all for them, the government threw squillions at childcare when I think they should be looking after the elderly.

Cost **** all??!!!....we have our daughter in there five days a week we are paying $635 a fortnight..........my partner earns $1800 a fortnight so essentially we are $1200 a fortnight better of which is why she has worked full time since my daughters birth but its definitely not cheap.

I'd be all over that if I was better looking, more muscular and a bigger dong!

Mate, that's not all it's cracked up to be either.

I've got barely any subscribers and some of the things I've had to do for a quid make me think is this really worth it?

You'd think anyone would jump at the opportunity, you get to bat twice and only field once pretty much every game.

How someone would not realise he knew what it meant and explained it in a political way

BTW Adel Uni footballers are very naive and do not talk like that... 8)

“I came back into my office … and someone raised it with me and I said: ‘Yeah, so what?’ and then they explained to me that there’s another meaning to it that I honestly didn’t know and I thought, oh now the criticism is going to start and here we are a few days later.”

“I’d invite at least people in the media to think about it this way – does anyone seriously believe that I would have deliberately used that terminology had I understood its other meanings that are out there?

I don't reckon he deliberately used it
They have carefully managed everything he does so he looks Mr Perfect and he's slipped up
There would have been a million media people brainstorming how to get him out of it

Have done plenty good but it still appears the health situation isn’t improving and ramping at record levels recently

When the problem is at the front door already, access to the ED and you get more ambulances on the road that adds to the demand at the front end, You aint going to fix it.

The problem is at the back door (discharging/transferring care to the PHNs/GPs) fix that and the ramping issue goes away as there is capacity at the front.

During the election, the Ambos union lady was on the radio
She wanted a massive increase in ambo numbers to fix the problem
I was yelling at the radio for the bloke to ask her how getting more ambos was going to fix the problem but he was too stupid to work it out
The logjam is inside the hospitals not outside

The most moronic thing is people voting in the very people who caused the problem on the promise they would fix it.
It's as if Transforming Health never happened

And I gave David Speirs a massive earache when he blamed others for their perfectly $hithouse campaign.
Its as if he wasn't in Cabinet or had anything to do with the election

I don’t think anyone is saying that. Both parties have been derelict when it comes to health in this state. Seems like it’s been put in the too hard basket
