Father's day and a son that played in the juniors GF yesterday, bringing home the chocolates.

I felt for the opposition though - their best player was stretchered off with a suspected broken ankle/leg. I hope he's ok.

Hopefully a door opens up for him, I heard there was a significant injury to the B Grade skipper on the weekend.

I remember coming back from a hammy a few years ago, I ran 20-30 laps every training session during the finals trying to get my spot back, the coach would say to me every Thursday night after training "I'm not picking you mate, don't worry, we'll win and I'll pick you when it matters". I could understand because the weather was crap and we were playing on heavy tracks (Daly Oval/Campbelltown Oval) so I just ran water and hoped that we stayed alive.

We got through to the GF, it was fine weather all week and we were playing on Salisbury Oval which was in great nick, I got the call up and was stoked.

I played like shit, our best player got taken out early and we got flogged.

At least there is still hope for the lad.

Vineyard Wines.

A mate from work was telling me how good a cleanskin Langhorne Creek Cab Sav he's been getting through these guys for $10 per bottle so I thought it's worth a shot. Got a 25% discount on my first order and then a rep calls me half an hour later to see if I want to sample a free $45 a bottle red that he'll do for $15 a pop for any future orders if I like it...............and then asked if I want it delivered to my work for free tomorrow.

Nice start to what could be a healthy relationship.

She gets the baps out a few times in a Western movie she was in for memory.

They sat up like a pair of meerkats.
