Just the word Carvery gets me moist

Same, I had a fair spread for round 1, round 2 consisted of a plate full of beef and pork doused with gravy, accompanied with the freshest of bread rolls.

The meat just fell apart, I wont eat until tomorrow afternoon now.

Weekend flying visits to Melbourne, staying on Smith Street in Collingwood where anything goes, catching a band called "The Tarantinos" who play tunes from Tarantino movies at an unassuming local corner pub and eating their super tasty 'low and slow' style Americana menu.

Quiet weekends. Well, I will when this coming weekend is upon us. I've had something either Friday night, Saturday night or Sunday for 9 weeks in a row.

I love the lifestyle the Mrs and I live, with adult children we're free to live our lives and we sure do, but I am flat out keen for a weekend of just pottering around the house to some tunes and a couple of lazy days.

Almost guaranteed that between me putting in this last full stop and Friday afternoon something comes up.

Christmas Day for Punters - lol usually costs me as much as Christmas Day

Best day of racing for the year, but a day that historically always kills me on the punt.

Nah got a 2 week free trial, runs out on the 4th of Nov... I reckon i'll cancel my sub til footy season comes back... Much better value than the afl app

I heard them on the wireless the other day mention a bloke who basically only watched the AFL on his Kayo got an email from them at the end of the AFL season to say they were dropping his monthly subscription down to $15 per month as they expected he would be using the service less. That's pretty good service.

Yeah I got the same. Pretty much havent watched since footy finished so not sure why I am paying $15 when I might as well just cancel it til the footy starts up again.
