Cricket was the first love of my life, I love it to death, every format and it's great to have it back on tv this summer but f**k me dead, all the dancers and "entertainment" they have at Twenty-20 matches shit me to tears. Why do they have to continually stain the game with that rubbish ffs. As the old saying goes, it's just not Cricket!!

If you can't cook it or flush it, it shouldn't have been a pet.

Harvey Norman can be hit and miss. They work on commission but they have a maximum they can earn, so if your lucky to get someone that has earn't their max they are more willing to give you discount.

If you work on the priniciple "there will always be a better deal on offer" and go in with that mindset, they soon realise and give you the best price you can get, especially if you walk away after hearing the offer.

Or they do like what they did to me when I was thinking about whether to buy the last big screen TV on special (the display one) went outside to think about it and came back in and one of their other guys was on the phone with someone who supposedly wanted it right there and then so my guy said quick make a decision or it's going to go and I'm like *sigh* "Yeah alright".

I've had real estate agents and car salesmen try that technique on me - there's always another deal somewhere...
Sometimes I miss out when I call their bluff, but the last real estate agent came back to me several months later when the "about to be sold" house was still on the market. (As it turned out, I'd just bought something else I liked better.)

This is when you drop your price even further.

My conscience.

Just got offered a job, but its to start Monday.

As much as I dislike where I work now, I didn't have it in me to bail on them on such short notice.

Because of the fact that nobody knows how to do what I do, and the company pretty much can't function without it being done, I didn't want to affect everybody else.

If I get another job, Id like at least a week to try to teach someone as much as possible.

But the wife's too big to flush, and she wouldn't be tender enough to eat...

You did the right thing. You never know when this could come back and bite you in the future.

Go to your boss and suggest you deserve a payrise with all the tasks that you do.
If they fail to recognise your efforts then its bye bye
