Plenty of third-party organisations who they obtain these details off. Nearly all of us would have agreed to some t&c's somewhere that allow our details to be handed out.
Data is a more expensive resource than oil and gold.

As an Apple FanBoi and privacy tin hatter, I always use iCloud’s hide my email when an email sign up is required. I have hundreds of them, each specific to a site.
That way, if I get any correspondence outside of the originating site, I know it’s either spam, phishing, has been hacked or the data has been sold.
