The recent video doing the rounds of Neale Daniher speaking to the Melbourne boys, and the message he conveys is just bloody bang on the money. Such an inspiration that bloke.

It is an absolute must that he receives an Australian of the Year award whilst he is still with us.

An incredible human. There is no other way to describe him.

Certainly deserves it but doesn't want to be nominated apparently

That mans strength of character to stand and stare the monster in the eye, to not take a backwards step but to defy almost every instinct a human being has and to walk towards the monster with nothing but determination is truly unbelievable.

I only hope that when I am faced with something like he is that I remember him, remember his determination and within me is some of the character that he displays.

Rummaging around in the red wine collection looking for a bottle for tonight to enjoy with some Rib Eye’s.... and I stumble upon a bottle that has somehow worked its way out of the roster (I am a bit rainman when it comes to the drinking order) a 2009 Evans & Tate Cab Sav. Stuff me, that’ll do the job!

Barty only made the 3rd round at Wimbeldon last year so a good run there and some luck with the top 3 above her she could get there at Wimbledon

Nick Riewoldt as Freddy Mercury at the Big Freeze.

Has set a new standard for Big Freeze participants, one that will be very hard to beat. Great stuff.

Except for the height difference he looked more like Mercury than Malek did in Bohemiam Rhapsody who won an Oscar!

It was superb.
