Used to be the regular fill spot, cheapest fuel in the south. Strange it has never been redeveloped.

Not sure why the caltex(previously Cole’s express) didn’t open up there as it’s only 1/2km down the road.

With tanks still in the ground it would cost a shitload to repatriate it for other uses.

There’s no dispute, family just don’t want to sell it. There has been many decent offers on the land (I know this for a fact) and there’s no interest in selling. Mick was known back in the day for being a hard man to get money out of.

I shit you not, I had a former colleague that used to scour the obituaries each day.

She found a surname one day so did some digging around to discover that she was a great niece to some bloke that had passed away, she was all over it once she discovered he didn't have any children and even more so when there was no will in place.

She put on the waterworks, went to the funeral and ended up with 18K share of his estate.

I estimated yesterday if I had no calls and no emails I'd be caught up in about 13 working days.

Literally putting out one fire at a time only to turn around and see 3 more getting going.

quietest I have been in over 3 years, am usually flat strap with work all over Australia, anything up to 35 jobs on the go, currently have spent the last 2 days at home with nothing to do
