Is this the worst season for mosquitoes and flys in a long time? We never get them at home but they are everywhere

Yep

Just left Eden Valley and the home has really thick external stone walls. When it's hot, the flys go to it as it is cool. Absolutely covered.

Here in Adelaide the mozzies are the worst I can recall.

Coz of the wet spring they reckon. Every time I'm out the back and put an empty back in the carton the mozzies go berserk.

Only seen flies in the country and haven't seen a mozzie since last year and I walk around the Torrens most days, maybe it's even too polluted for mozzies?

Agree 100%, have seen him half a dozen times and have never left disappointed other than the fact that it finishes too quickly.
Was fortunate enough to have a chat with him and his crew after one of his shows a few years ago, was like talking to someone you had known your entire life, really down to earth bloke.
Having said that comedy is subjective so can understand that his style might not appeal to everyone.

I tend to agree. Most people I know don't bother any more.

Can I ask - what's the point of the govt saying we'll give you a fine if you don't report a positive RAT? Like, who's going to bother?? If it was a 1000 bucks to say you're positive, then hell yeh! But how is this going to be policed?

Comedians are generally far better live, I guess the atmosphere helps the cause too.

I was never a fan of the Chopper Reid impersonator (Heath Franklin), I seen him live and he was simply brilliant, very interactive and hilarious, he got me to do a couple of anecdotes too as he kept calling out to me in the crowd to see if I approved, all hell broke loose when I went to go grab a beer.

They don't show the exposure sites anymore either which backs your comment IMO.

Up here in the hills, I'm having a little trouble with tiny ants and tiny spiders in the garden, but no mossies around.
Lots of birds though - perhaps they eat them?
