One of my regulars got the sack today, they knew he hurt his hands at work and got him to train another new guy in the same job before giving him the sack and promising him a good reference. He has no union, he's going to contact the Ombudsman/Fair Work Commission, anyone have any other suggestions where he could go to follow this up? Having never been in this position and always being in a union I have no idea.

His message to me afterwards on messenger might incur a follow up though!
Was funny seeing a pic of him, looked exactly like just every anti vaxxer I've seen rallying does!

Also, I have been warned about allowing false information on here too, it happens everywhere and mainstream social media is already cracking down on it for the possible repercussions, I don't apologise to anyone for that when at the end of the days it's my balls on the line and not theirs. And it certainly wasn't my intention when I created the site that people would use it to spread false propoganda.

Back in the late 80s and early 90s when I was doing a fair number of Worker's Compensation assessments in WorkCover cases, I learned the key thing is getting the right lawyer - and not necessarily the one recommended by the unions.

Mahony's were very effective - often offers made earlier were doubled or tripled as soon as they got involved.
