So by 'coercion' you mean employment condition?

I assume by the same token you regard the requirement to wear hard hats on construction sites as 'coercion'.

If anyone has any excess turf squares I wouldn't mind getting hold of a couple.

If they misrepresented the reasons why you have to wear a hard hat as part of your job then you may have a point

Say, like, as protection against a concrete slab falling on you?

Nailed it

"Here RB - under your employment agreement, you are required to wear this hard hat because it will give you "full protection" from a concrete slab or 20 foot steel beam falling on your head"

Now, strictly speaking: it does give you more protection than not wearing one even against a concrete slab or 20 foot steel beam falling on your head but dont dress it up as full protection or that the slab and beam wont hit your head because you're wearing it (which again: strictly speaking it will hit the hard hat first)

Here you go: SA Health at its misrepresentative finest

https://www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/wps/wcm/ ... s/boosters

Each day we hear about the number of new COVID cases here in South Australia.

Behind each number is a real person, and most hadn’t had their third COVID shot. Many thought they were fully protected, not realising that double vaxxed isn’t fully vaxxed.

It's almost like science keeps learning as it goes. Fascinating stuff.

A couple of months ago they predicted 10,000 cases per day

https://www.adelaidenow.com.au/coronavi ... bd39d4061d

Peak at 6,000 by July 12th
Let’s see how close they can get

I'd rather stick my money on Vamos & his jelly beans

well, my houses turn for Covid.

wife had an earache thursday night, which isnt uncommon, so she just worked through it Friday. started feeling like shit friday night, and tested positive to a rat test saturday morning.
myself and the boy went for PCR tests saturday, he has a cough, and i got one cos i was there anyway. both negative.
the daughter tested positive sunday morning on her free rat test, despite having no symptoms, i was negative, despite having symptoms by then... so i went for another PCR sunday arvo. got teh positive result monday morning.
so three of the four in the house all have it (daughter has symptoms now) and despite us not staying away from the boy, he is still testing negative...

we seem to have a mild strain thankfully. im currently working from home (dammit) but im a bit annoyed ill miss 2 weekends with being locked up. also hope the boy avoids it all together. otherwise ill probably have to stay home next week too as he is too young to be left home alone. ill really be looking for some outside interaction if im stuck here too long, lol

I had a mild dose of Covid back in March, after two AZ shots and one Pfizer. Basically, I had a runny nose and a bit of sneezing for 3 days, but no temperature rise. I didn't believe the positive RAT with no temperature rise, and so I had the PCR to confirm it. I've recently had another Pfizer booster.

It's funny how it affects people,
I had no symptoms, my other half, who tested positive 15 days ago, is very lethargic still.
She had to stop halfway through mowing the lawn yesterday,
I got her a drink & sat her down for a while,
she showed some real grit & finished the job off after the break.
