The information we got was that only about 15% of incoming flights weren’t cancelled. The airport staff had all left as the protesters had entered the airport secure zone and were causing issues.
Some flights were diverted to Macau also

That list is very handy Boon. I get called a lot of those so it will help to know if the sender is having a crack or not.
Can you please expand it to include Tiger, D!ckmuncher, Sport and Big Fella.

Also, how offended should I be when they 1) spell my name wrong, despite it being at the bottom of the email they are replying to, and 2) flat out calling me the wrong name, eg: James instead of John.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

got in ok, delayed 24 hours in Hong Kong to get his connecting flight to Hangzhou

Name spelled wrong despite having access to the correct spelling? I authorize you to "Champ" them.

Wrong name all together? I'd ask "Sorry, who am I speaking with?"

I'll smash my monitor one day when someone rings and says "Hi, just sent you an email and I was wondering if you got it?"
