A chick at work said her mum required dental work and it was looking close to $100K here, ended up being less than $10K.
Pretty sure @Wedgie had some major dental work done in Thailand which cost him less than here, including the flights and accommodation.
I got a front tooth crown replaced, 2 fillings and a cleanse. Cost me $650. ($450 for the crown).
Top notch work too, I did do my homework though. All done in 3 quick visits over 4 days.
I would assume something like implants might need ongoing visits which would make a quick trip to Thailand difficult.
The work I had done had a full 12 month warranty and is still perfect 6 years on.
