flash flooding in a lot of the main roads down south I am hearing...gonna make for a long drive home

I did hear about this... really really sad for the family. You have to feel for the kids and hope that the support network is in place for his wife, which one can only assume is considering his place in the church, let alone society at large.
If you're asking what i think about it then i think that at least he was ready. Here is a man who had given his life in service to God and it was his time, now he gets a promotion. We will never understand the why of life. All it shows is that no matter who you are and whats going on in life, we all have an appointed time that we don't know. We must be ready for it!
Guarantee the family and church will grieve but that will be closely followed by rejoicing that he is now in heaven!

I can't even begin to explain how ****** up this way of thinking is.
You think they'll be rejoicing that this poor bastard got hit by lightning and is "in heaven"? **** me.
