I'm starting to see why I didn't miss it for the last 5 years.

Yep, piss poor.
At least the footy is uninterrupted.
They have like 6 ads near the end of a sitcom and then go back to the show for the last 2 minute wrap up ad credits.
We've pulled back our channels, pretty much only watch 111, sky racing, footy or the odd movie, there's plenty of snot on there nowadays.

We've got an Optus Fetch box with several Fox channels and I'm amazed people pay the amount they do for full Foxtel with the amount of ads they have. They also have a knack of having commercial simultaneously on all channels at the same time, especially during prime time so it doesn't matter where you flick to.

Has anyone tried switching from normal Foxtel to Foxtel by Telstra to take advantage of the cheap pricing they have at the moment?

Foxtel now.......sold a login to the old man. He only watches sports, mostly cricket & golf. I do the same with the odd tv series (currently working through Ballers)Booney wrote:Wedgie wrote:When did Foxtel get more commercials than commercial TV?

Why do the charge for Sky Racing 2? It’s generally the crap races but it annoys me when a race is late and gets shunted
I’d be lost without the HD channels now

$39pm with free installation and free IQ3 seemed a no brainer for me, it will save me shitloads as to what I'd spend at the pub getting frustrated with other "patrons" during games that interest me. Recording will be handy with my work too. Could stream before but didnt have the internet speed to get full HD
