Versing is taking over the world.

I remember my son saying a few years ago "we're versing Glenelg this week". Naturally I replied with "Singing with them or about them?". A puzzled look came my way as if to suggest I'm an idiot.

While we're at it, people who type "his" when they mean "he's".

Also, people who use an apostrophe before the s when they want to pluralise a word.

whuffer's trademark, although now I think he just does it because he knows it gives me conniption fits reading it.

I fluff the 2nd line up sometimes, it's ownership or when you take out a letter..............I think :oops:

Yep. Never merely to pluralise something. The only possible exception I'll make is if it absolutely has to be in there to convey the relevant meaning - e.g. the Oakland A's.
