I tried the one on the corner of Tapleys Hill and Valetta rd. Which is Fullham Bakery but not sure if it was the one mentioned above.

Overall it was good. Excellent flavours, great roll, spot on salad, tremendous pate and special sauce. Their was a phenomenal amount of meat as well but that's where it let itself down a bit as it was slightly fatty in parts. Now I know that's par for the course but it was noticeable and reminded me of many of the Hewett photos I have seen. Some of the real big chunks are half fat. None the less a pretty decent roll and will give them one more chance. For the most part it was a good VDR

Yep that's Fulham Bakery, and that's the one risk with them, that the Pork can sometimes be excessively fatty. When it's not though they are incredibly difficult to fault.

Have only recently got into the old Dog Roll.

As a southerner it has been lean pickings until both the bakery and restuarant at OHalloran Hill started breeding all within a month of each other, they are 30m apart so competition is driving insane quality, both have specific breeding operations seperate from their core business which is a plus.

Had both over 2 days a couple of weeks ago and they were both amazing, different but top shelf, can't complain about either of them. The Restuarant is now closed for 5 weeks so I presume the bakery is doing unbelievable business.

As I work in mt Barker hope were high when Rue Saigon started up recently, sadly while they will subside a craving for 2-3 hours they are barely a patch on the top breeders.

Tried Convenience on Daws recently also and was impressed. Havent been to SF for a while as it is always crazy busy.

Tay Do never disappoints. Half way through one now. The only thing is getting the right lady to make it. Some are a bit stingy with the meat.

Todays is a 7/10. Got the older lady (main sting-o)

Hehe

It's a deli on the corner of Marian and Barnes Rd at Glynde. There's usually a line up now and they've put combo rolls up to $7.

Bloody hell. You should never have to pay more than $5.50 for a combo roll.

Price would be location dependent. Cheap rent in the western suburbs.

$7 is bullshit but if it's your favourite breeder you would pay it.

The wife was is in a minor car accident today but is OK and took the day off work. On the way home she still found time too get us both a dog roll. It's a feel good for the ages I know. Interesting though her favourite is probably 5th or 6th for me.

Has anyone been to the bakery at Elizabeth Park Shops? Round the corner from my work, wondering if their pups are worth dropping in for.

Joint next to the land of promise on Port road. Awesome combo rolls.

Close to the best I've had and only $5.50.

Churchill Rd (green shop) northern end
Bagsters Rd North of Salisbury North Footy Oval
Hewett Bakery
Little place in the CBD, alleyway that runs alongside CityX (opposite Cheap as chips and the foodcourt above it), but has been extremely busy last few time I went there
