What do people think of the current setup?

Any feedback would be appreciate.
The fav look I was almost going for was going to be a dark blue with red panels and yellow writing but that may have been a tad hard on the old eyes.
This format adds a bit of red to a similar style to footysa so I thought was not to bad a choice?

Also I've made a home/intro page to this site now, only something simple but gives me a page to play with in the future in case we want more attached to this site. Check it out at: http://www.sanflfooty.com

I knew you'd like the double blue Jimmy!

It has been pointed out that one of the flaws with the current style I'm using here does have a big bloody dark blue between each post which really isn't necessary.

If people want to see the different styles that I could run with on this site goto the following site and choose different styles at the top of the page to see what they look like:
http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo.php

We're using "Athena" at the moment. With any of the styles I could amend them slightly to make them look slightly different too, it was my aim to incorporate red, blue or yellow in the forum too. Have a play, if there's one you like we might give it a run on here.
Cheers.

I think it would be best to have the forum in red, yellow and blue to appear unbiased towards any clubs.

I am currently having a browse through the styles on phpbb...

this is easy on the eye, i think a bright coloured one would hurt the eyes... and i dont mind the thick border between posts, kinda lets youknow the start and ending of a post sorta..its great mate :D

Having had a look at the various styles available, I reckon that the best one that I saw was "classic". Others which I thought looked OK were "graphite", "redIce" and "MissionImpossible" (if you can change the shades of grey to shades of blue).

The main consideration I looked at was how uncluttered everything looked. One good thing about footysa was how simple it was to view - you could see up to 15 or so posts on the one screen, so it didn't take long to wade through all the crap to find the posts you were interested in.
