In 41 sleeps :) Myself, Mrs Jase and the two girls are heading to the UK for 7 weeks...

It will be the first time on a plane for the girls, so will be interesting how our ADHD little one will manage sitting still for an hour and a half to Sydney, never mind the then 7 and 15 hour stints...

Starting with a week in London, then up to just outside Birmingham for a wedding, a trip up North for 2 weeks, back to outside Birmingham and numerous day trips including running the Solihull half marathon a week before we leave.

Will try and get to a Bradford City practice match, that should beautifully setup the disappointment for the rest of the season.

On the way back home it is just the Girls and I, as Mrs Jase is staying on with family for another 10 days. This may be the worst idea I have ever had.

Surely St Andrews gets a run.
If not then Cadbury World....

We are heading up to Scotland as part of our trip up North. I've been to St Andrew's before, in the dead of winter, so would be good to see it in the glorious Scottish summer".

We tried to get tickets to the British Open at Royal Troon, but we missed out on the lottery.

We are definitely heading to Cadbury World, this is one of the things the girls are looking to the most, that, seeing Matilda in London and Harry Potter world.

And the other St Andrews in Brum

Ah yes that one, I wouldn't think so Villa Park on the other hand, absolutely... ;)

A long weekend, flying out tomorrow morning with the lad for a boys weekend on the NSW Central Coast where we have top notch seats for the A League GF.
Pubs, breweries and clubs sussed with locals advice already received and itinerary for the weekend organised.

Sydney this weekend to watch Port and Jerry Seinfeld. Heading up with 5 close mates so not sure how much sleep I will get.
Been a tough last 12 months with misso leaving and all the things that come with it. New beginning starts the weekend.

Cheers, we have a villa in Sanur so won't be hitting the nightspots much, got a few day trips worked out, my first tattoo on the cards and the rest of the time just beach parties.

Massimo’s and Taquisa are great restaurants in Sanur. The Gelati at Massimo’s is ridiculously good!

Its a great buzz seeing milestones like this......

I've got that feeling this year with our b grade. We are guaranteed two finals and expecting 8 blokes to make their senior footy finals debut, including two 15 years old (will be their last games for the club for hopefully a while as they are down with the Eagles next year)

I'm like a proud father, maybe even more excited for them then they are for themself.

Win lose or draw im hoping the kids love the experience and it motivates them to strive for greater in coming years.

Best bit about coaching is seeing kids develop and taking the next step up. Good luck tomorrow!

I should have added Sunday will be a bit different as #2 son's team play in a GF but he is out for the year due to his injury, but thats footy

Good luck to your lads..............we dont start finals until next week.

Sadly we have seen a spike in knee injuries this year, not sure if its due to the harder decks caused by the lack of rain up this way.

I have a mate that organises an Ambrose golf tournament every Friday the 13th, he has done for several years but I've never gone, i do get ribbed about it every time. They are planned out at the start of the year, there was one in Fiji last year and Auckland a couple of years ago, most are somewhere in SA though.

I keep getting told that the golf is about 10% of the festivities and I have to have a look, so I am finally going to one this week.

We are staying in Normanville and playing at Mount Compass, I'm pretty hit and miss at golf so I'll probably be the lowest rank (there are 30 going). At least I'll get teamed up with the highest ranking player who will have to do most of the heavy lifting, I can jag a long putt in though so hopefully I can pull some of my weight.

Today marks the first anniversary of being at my new place of work so it is very fitting that I get to have a chilled Friday with a great bunch just hitting a little ball around while whoofing down some beers.
