From the producer of the original classic PUMPING IRON, comes GENERATION IRON the long awaited true story of dedication, rivalry, victory, defeat, redemption and triumph... The film examines the professional sport of bodybuilding today and gives us access to the lives of current bodybuilding stars Phil Heath, Kai Greene, Branch Warren, Dennis Wolf, Victor Martinez, Hidetada Yamagishi as well as ambitious newcomer Ben Pakulski and European sensation Roelly Winklaar on their journey to be crowned Mr Olympia.

Generation Iron is narrated by Mickey Rourke and will be shown exclusively at Hoyts cinemas nationwide from 13th March, in SA it seems it's only being shown at Hoyts Tea Tree Plaza and the Victorian premiere at Fit X 6-9 March will include special guests Tony Doherty & Branch Warren.

why would you post it in this thread when it has nothing to do with the topic.

Just trying to raise awareness.

Raise awareness about what? Steriods in a controlled environment are actually safe and are readily used by doctors for different conditions. The ones these doctors are talking about steroid abusers, they are addicted to the drug and don't have a safe plan on using it. As the report says two thirds died from drug poisoning.

Steroid poisoning.

Like I said, just raising awareness about a drug that kills people. Not sure why you would have a problem with that.

were does it say steroid poisoning? It only states drug poisoning and it also states that all but 1 where taking other drugs.

The article you have quote even states that 78.5% have died from other factors other then steroids and another 17% have died because of suicide (which may or may not be steroid related). It's not really providing the evidence to back up it's claims.

The problem I have is your posting something that doesn't even have anything to do with the topic. Why don't you start your own thread about steroid use if your that committed to raising awareness.

The article is about taking steroids alongside recreational drugs. If you do that you deserve to die.

A drug so dangerous, that the heaviest users, whom starred in the original Pumping Iron, now live normal and healthy lives.

Almost everybody says it, but I much prefer the physiques of Arnold, Nubret, Zane et al from the golden era compared to the bloated HGH guts of todays competitors.

Nevertheless, will try and catch this.
