WEIGHT LOSS + the challenge

Losing Weight, Health, Body Building, Fitness, Exercising, Nutrition, etc.

Think with the Atkins diet getting off the grog could be important to your health, as I believe the all protein no-carb diet can take quite a toll on the liver, but I also know friends who have followed this plan and have shed some serious weight in rather shortish time frames.

MK's post is the sensible option though, everything in moderation and exercise of some form, otherwise any weight lost will be regained once the routine/diet is finished.

Doest that mean a charity will be giving me money when I put weight on? :?

Perhaps those on the diet can subsidise beer for those of us who aren't

As for a charity how about these 2
Cancer Care at Unley which needs $$$$ and do a great job.
Or the Mcdermott Mcguiness foundation for the little fellas.
We could donate $2 a kilogram.
THOSE WHO PUT ON WEIGHT SHOULD DONATE $4 A KILO :(

I will regularly edit this and add on fellow campaigners.

I am 85kg but only this time last year about 69kg so I am trying to lose the footy season guts too. My diet is going to be no cheese, only water in fridge (no juices or beer!! :( ) and no countermeal parmys for about a month. Pure Blonde beer okay in emerency situations. :D

I was 97kg start of august, now 85kg (12kg in about 10-12 weeks)
all I did (  ) was cut out all the junk food (chocs, chips etc), havent had a soft drink in over three months, no snacking between meals (except for fruit), cut down on portions, eat heaps of veges and more fruit, no beer during the week (man that was hard, especially with over 300 stubbs of homebrew in the garage  )
and more exercise, I am lucky in my place of employment I can get the opportunity to go for a 45 minute walk each and every lunchtime

and the beauty is I can afford to let the hair down every now and then on weekends, ie barbies, out on the piss etc

oh yeah, and you need to be fairly disciplined
