First car driven: Dad's VL Berlina
First car owned: 1974 Gemini
Current car: VE 2009 Holden Commodore 60th Anniversary edition. Mrs smac 1999 Hyundai Excel
Best car driven: VE 2010 HSV Clubsport. Roomozoomzoom!
Worst car driven: Mum's 197? Holden Torana 4 cyl (auto) shopping trolley. What a bag of shit. Hated it ever since Dad accidentally drove it into the pool when it was stuck in Drive the morning of my 8th birthday pool party! Close second would be the Holden Vectra I owned a few years back, cost me more in repairs than it did to purchase.

First Car Drive: 1974 Ford Falcon (XM?) Station Wagon
Current Car: 2001 Daewoo Nubira Sedan
Best Car Driven: Ford Falcon
Worst Car Driven: Volvo 244DL

Btw, anyone out there have a reliable car to sell with less than 100 000km on the clock and preferably under $8 000? I was rearended in a collision on Thursday and have been told my Daewoo is to be written off due to its damage costing more than the $2 000 it is worth.

No wonder I was getting mixed up. My first one was a 64 XM wagon but I had an XA sedan later. The sedan was excellent inside but a rust bucket on the outside.

The XM is one of my favourite falcons, looked heaps better than the EH that Holden had out at the same time ;)

Current Car: Prototype S6100- My current vehicle has not been released yet, and will not be released for another 20 years. It runs on hydrogen, and does not have tyres or any mechanical moving parts. It has solar panels that allow enough energy capture to run my household, when the vehicle is plugged into the house.

Best Car Driven: Aston Martin DBS V12- the actual vehicle that James Bond used in Casino Royale. I lent it to production, as I was taking another sabbatical, and had no purpose for it at the given time.

Worst Car Driven: McLaren F1- I set the record for the fastest road car in the world, topping at 231 mph (372 km/h) with rev limiter on, and 240 mph (386.24 km/h) with rev limiter removed. I was mostly annoyed at having to remove the rev limiter myself, and will never forgive McLaren for their ill treatment on the matter.

Best car driven: 1995 Audi S2 - which is why I still have it.
Best car I owned: " " " "
Most exciting car driven [and owned]: 1978 Porsche 930 Turbo
Worst car driven [and owned]: Maserati biturbo 222E - it was brilliant when it was working, but it wasn't working often enough!
[ I did once drive a friend's 1968 Ford Fairlane - it put me right of Fords as it steered like a barge.]

PS: I'd forgotten all about the Holden HR panel van my first wife and I had for a short time - it would have to take the worst car owned title although it did steer a little better than the friend's Fairlane.

Update: The old Musso is dying - its auto transmission is on the way out and the car is worth far less than the cost of repair.
I'm looking at replacing it with the shorter wheel base 3-door version of the Suzuki Vitara - manual transmission model.

I enjoyed your faked up post above Punky, but the nearest I ever go to a movie star car was to sit in the Maserati Ghibli that Peter Sellars gave Britt Ekland as a wedding present.
That was then in the possession of a friend who lived in Leabrook...
(And my land speed record is 240 Kph - on a track.)

First car driven: Toyota Corolla. I was 12 and it was around a deserted rugby ground at Warwick Farm with my Dad.
First car owned: Mazda 1200. Got given a Morris 1000 before that but never drove it on the road.
Current car: 1997 Mazda 323 Astina. It's suffered a lot and is currently fitted with an alcohol interlock.
Best car driven: Porsche 911 Carrera. To be honest I've probably driven better cars and this IS just a jumped up Volkswagon but if I'd had this for more than six hours through work it would've got me laid for sure. The girl on the drive thru window at Maccas on Goodwood road was almost crawling out the window (for the record I was about 23 at the time). I didn't have the heart to go back there in my real car at the time. A HQ Kingswood.
Best car I owned: Probably the HQ. Almost indestructable (apart from clutch cables). Three on the tree manual which sometimes got stuck in neutral coming out of first. I remember pulling onto the median strip on Anzac hwy oposite bus stop 1, getting out and unlocking the gear linkages by hand. Did the same outside the bowling alley at Elizabeth. Luckily no cops around either time.
Worst car driven: To look at was my Dad's old XT Falcon. 15 different shades of paint or rust. Owned was my old LC Torana. If it had've had a decent gearbox it wouldn't be in this post. First and second gears were an absolute nightmare. If you didn't hit the gates SPOT ON you were back in third or fourth. As for reverse. I couldn't afford a replacement gearbox at the time. Honourable mention to my last car a Daihatsu Charade. Three cylinders no balls

Good Topic.

Heres my list..

First car driven...................XM Ford. Memory recalls 1964.. I had a 62 ford, I think it was a XP...? XM had power heaters. :D
Current car........................VY Acclaim. (2003)(pick up my VF Calais in 4 weeks)
Best car driven...................VY Acclaim by far. Rear Parking assist. Mrs_Dog_ger's 2012 Focus isn't that bad. She hates my VY... ;)
Worst car driven.................The Old Company truck. Complained until they got rid of it. :D
