They needed to get rid of hall, hogan and Nash towards the end... Stop rehashing the Nwo!!! And look to the future....

The reason Benoit and co left was that they weren't getting used properly... Which you all know anyways.

Seth Rollins has done his knee. Out for 6-9 months. :(

Survivor Series will be a title tournament.

Haha I reckon we read that article at the same time.

Tournament where Seamus cashes seems like a huge possibility to me.

Do you reckon Reigns was going to win the title at the ppv? Sick of seeing Rollins as champ

Yeah possibly but who knows now. I could have seen him winning and Seamus cashing leading to a 3 way at Rumble to create Main event at Mania uncertainty. Rumours were growing of a massive shake up.

Dating back to a kid in 88 when Mania 4 was a tournament that Macho Man won as Hogan was about to take time off for the birth of Brooke I have always loved a good tournament. Wrestling history is steep in tradition for great tournaments. I loved the 1 million $ Crockett Cup the NWA used to do. I remember Brets tournament win to become WCW world champion and around the same time Corporate Rock v Mankind for the WWF title.

What it does for the first time in a long time is create uncertainty, genuine uncertainty. RR will be hot favourite, Lesnar if he is interested is a good fix, Cena could get an SOS, Seamus will be lurking or or or or......as my mate and I have been exchanging texts about will they go outside the box to a dark horse. A man who can wrestle, a man who can work, someone with a sharp wit who can cut killer promos night after night and a man who can clearly Fight Owens Fight. As a baby face the American public will be able to relate to him. He can work heel or face and has the charisma to turn easily. I would love to see it and would be my booking but realise it is a long shot.

When the tournament draw is released I might make a Wristys Wrestlebet and do some odds.

Also this leave for Rollins will set up a face turn for when he returns. Obviously bad for him but could turn out to be very good for him...

Doubt it will be as big as the return hhh had at msg but it will be good

With Rollins and Orton out, provides a little bit uncertainty, which is a good thing. Hopefully they don't go predictable and go Reigns. Bray Wyatt would be entertaining for a little while.

Title tournament at 98 Survivor Series was awesome, hopefully it's something similar.

Yep beat Goldylocks in the first round with the help of the....N.....Dubya........Ooooohhhhh!!!!!!

If I was booking, not only would they be winning the ratings ;) I would make it a 64 man invitational starting with a two week lead in. Would be a great way to incorporate all the genuine talent and let them wrestle, sprinkle in some NXT, give some Indy guys a match and bring in a couple of hall of famers to do some cameo work. Would allow for some great story lines within the story line. Someone gets screwed, someone does a Goldberg, someone turns, a tag team face off, couple of new additions, some huge upsets.

They will probably go 8 man with a qualification on Raw and the Semis and main on the PPV. Either way it should be a good PPV now and whilst ii feel for Seth his misfortune has ironically forced upon the WWE some exciting booking opportunities.

Just the semis and the final on the night doesnt give it much of a tournament feel IMO. Needs to have at least the last 8, if not the last 16.

Sprinkle in a tag title match, Divas title match and Wyatt Family v Taker/Kane/??? tag-team elimination match to break up the rounds and makes for a solid PPV.

8 would be good but it won't be 16 as that makes for 15 matches meaning the night will have 17 matches. Wrestlemania 4 had the 14 man tournament and it dragged like a bitch.

Tournaments have been responsible for 2 of the worst WWF/E PPVs - Wrestlemania 4 and King of the RIng '95. I reckon a final 4 at Survivor Series would be the way to go. They should do some sort of repeat of the Survivor Series '98 angle, with the Authority helping Reigns beat Ambrose in the final (giving Roman a much needed heel turn). I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Reigns vs Lesnar 2 at Wrestlemania 32 (their match this year is one of my favouritest of 2015). Or it could be a nice set-up for Reigns vs The Rock at Mania 32.

It's meant to already be booked Brock v Rock at Mania but obviously the recent events might cause them to change the bookings.

Had a chat about it with a few mates last night and we agree the Reigns heel turn to win looks likely.

Bret was my favourite wrestler. Probably enhanced my love for it as well as the final v Benoit. The scariest man I have ever met.
