trips and him had one of the best story lines leading into mania one year... Thumbs up! Thumbs down!!!
People say HHH doesn't put people over! Lost to Batista on 3 consecutive ppv's.
Almost killed Batista's momentum by demanding an extra long (and very boring) match at Mania 21.
There's many he hasn't put over during his career.
of the top of my head he has put over...
HBK
Rock on numerous occasions.
Mick Foley on numerous occasions
Batista
Austin
Undertaker
CM Punk
Jeff Hardy
Brock Lesnar
Shelton Benjamin - that was cool
Edge
Ultimate Warrior
Ken Shamrock
few of these blokes didn't need putting over because they already were... HHH is a ring general and one of the best of our generations. Putting people over has to be believable, and for example putting zac ryder over him is ridiculous, the guy is a comic act... so overrated its not funny!
HHH is a guy who has been put through a fair bit of sh*t because of the click incident at MSG. I remember him eating dog food after a match wh=ith shamrock...
HBK - Shawn was the one who gave HHH his DX start
Rock on numerous occasions - and vice versa
Mick Foley on numerous occasions - Foley was the one losing during their main event feud
Austin - On the PPV before Austin headlined Mania 17 with the Rock, he senselessly lost to HHH.
Undertaker - Everybody puts him over
CM Punk - Punk was red hot until he started feuding with Nash and HHH
Jeff Hardy - let Hardy beat him for the IC title via fluke win, then buried him in the following months
Shelton Benjamin - that was cool - don't recall that, I'm sure it did nothing for Bejamin's career
Edge - don't remember that
Ultimate Warrior - HHH was a nobody back then
Let's not forget his rubbish main event feuds with Kane, Golberg, Booker T and RVD that did nothing for their careers, and of course Orton leaving Evolution and then getting destroyed by HHH in the following months.
