They can take 3 people out on the boat and bring in 15 up to 60cm and 6 over 60cm every day of the season.

I used to go snapper fishing quite a bit at Port Neill and we always used to get snapper, however, once the long liners came though and cleaned them out, they are almost non existent there now.

Absolutely. You could chug out to the Norma Wreck, Glenelg Tyre Reef or the West Beach grounds and get yourself a couple of nice table sized fish without too much effort. Sit on the edge of the shipping channel at night and you might get yourself a thumper. Not anymore. In fact, if you wanted to bag out on whiting or snapper in Adelaide metro waters you'll be needing a hell of a lot of luck or a boat you can eat/sleep/shit/fish on.

He is, but I'd class the charter boat's as professional, that's what they do, they get paid to take people to catch fish.

Went surf fishing over the coorong / salt creek 2 weekends ago. Tinny over the coorong and walk the dunes with rods and esky. Got a few salmon, big buggers too. Salmon patties stocked up in the freezer

I flicked a line in at Vivonne Bay KI the weekend before last - some nice big Salmon also. Didn't keep any.

Crabs are on lads, get your nets out.

Went to BCF the other day to grab some more yabby pots as we were headed to Swan Reach, told by staff they no longer sell them due to victorian legislation?!

They did advise Spot On Salisbury (which is actually my usual local shop) and happy to say you can still get them there.

Just using your post as a side note . My Xmas present was a $50 gift card from BCF I’m that close I can walk to them .
So this is a warning I went in on Boxing Day morning after I fished the Pat .
Found the double clutches got one laser double clutch the sign said 20 percent off all hardbody lures picked up some leader .
Go to pay and I asked does that include the 20 percent off no but they fixed up the price
So Friday night I get an email telling me I have 10 percent off any purchase .
In I go they take 10 percent off and again I asked does that Include the 20 percent off the teenager had to get help and take another 20 percent off .

Just a warning always make certain with BCF they actually give you the advertised discount
Anaconda is another one get $20 off and they make double clutches $19.90 so you have to buy an extra product .


After all that the double clutches got me some bream nothing Legal

If you can access one of the metro jetty's the blue swimmers are in full flight at the moment.

How does one tell if they are breeding stock without cutting their gonads out to see if they've shriveled up?
