Heaps of small bream around, good sign for the future. Also a lot of bait fish around too...might of been why the big bream didn't want to play. The st's are crazy though.

A couple of decent st's today on a gold twisty at the bower road end of the lake. Still heaps of baitfish around, seagulls were diving bombing them which probably kept the sprat st's away.

Being having a very successful weeks fishing, plenty of yellowfin whiting and squid even though conditions have been tough. Got enough seafood in the freezer so now I am targeting big bream.

Also hooked a sting ray that was as wide as a car....I stood no chance.

I've got 5 days up on the Darling river starting tomorrow for a annual blokes trip. Nailed a 15kg Cod on the last trip, and just got reports a 20lb one was hooked last week there. Special part of the country up that way, lets hope the yabbies come out to play :D

i think only idiots chase the silver and black fish that are very fussy that only grow to about 50cm

I'm off to catch some species that require quality angling such as squid and flathead.
