The season started later so the EPL finished later i believe.
Also with wembley hosting CL final in fortnight there was no available spare weekend.
Think the EPL Started late due to world cup

Nah. Skysports decided as they didn't have the FACup they would rain on the FA's parade and have EPL playing instead. The fact United won the title that day was an added bonus for them.

I keep tell you, sky sports governs English football in England

That may be the case with skysports but was the cup early this season or EPL late?
I thought the epl always finished 2nd weekend of may and the cup was always around 21st,22nd and that left CL to last week in May

It's irrelevant mate. They could have played all the EPL games until Sunday. But that would have meant less revenue as as it wad they got to show live games over both days

Yeah was extremely poor form.
Would of made EPL much more exciting too. West Ham knew they were stuffed at start of play, if all games were played on sunday it would have been more thrilling.
I bet you if chelsea had beaten us last week their game would have been pushed forward to go head to head with united.
The only good thing is City's cup win got relegated a few pages in papers and media to focus on uniteds win :D
