Glad I stayed up for this game, what a wonderful day of soccer its been for me between the Mariners winning the GF and Spurs coming from behind against City to win convincingly.
I'm going to sleep with a smile on my face tonight.

Congrats to Man Utd winning the title.

Getting a little sick and tired , sitting back wathcing those pricks win it all the time. Time for some changes from every team. I still dont believe that they got any better than the previous season, yet the rest got worse. Robin van pussy was the difference for sure. How aboout Wenger goes and hands fergie the title before next season starts again like he did when he let pussy go. Was a great second goal from him yes. Good for my mate thou as he is wigan and that win helps his team.

I do agree that the standard has dropped this season. This years United squad wasnt as good ad previous years IMO, Van Persie made a big differance early on in the season but I felt a lot of clubs went backwards this season, City ran up the white flag months ago and whilst teams like Chelsea and Arsenal are good on their day they were far too inconsistant. United ground out a lot of 1-0's early in the season to get a decent lead.
As evidenced by the English clubs poor effort in Europe there will be some big changes in the off season.
Hearing Arsenal will spend big, City and Chelsea always lash out and United has been guaranteed money to spend. Will be closer next season

Nope because of money.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Nope because of money.

It will change because of money.
Blackburn won a trophy because of money but couldnt sustain it.
Chelsea were nothing until Abramovich's money came into it.
City were perennial scrubbers until the Arab's came.
All 3 have won titles and more clubs will be taken over in the future.
QPR failed this year but Fernandes has squillions to spend, they will be straight back up and could be a force in a few years. Talk of other clubs being bought out so I can see other clubs enter the mix over the next few years

Its always been money, and will never change. Football is a business, and it will never be like the AFL in regards to different teams winning. Maybe 30 years ago, but not anymore. The FIFA fair play rules are a load of rubbish..

True Bully and thats why I think we will see other teams emmerge over the next few years.
Some squillionaire will decide he wants to buy a club like Everton or Newcastle or the like and they will be pushing for a title in years to come. Talk of Liverpool and Villa being taken over by rich consortiums soon and receiving cash injections.
The fair play system rewards the teams with big stadiums and large earning capacities, hence the reason United will always be better off than City, because we earn far more than City we can spend more. Probably why United are looking at turning OT into a 110,000 seater stadium down the track

FSG won't sell Liverpool I reckon mate. On one hand I'd kinda like it if they did, but on the other hand they've been far more willing to regularly part with coin than the previous owners, but we haven't been good enough with our talent identification to show a decent improvement. I think with the $$ they have contributed there's no excuses for us to not be good enough to challenge for 3rd or 4th and the income the CL brings, but we've still chosen several ordinary players to bring in since they've been here. Carroll and Downing alone haven't returned probably %10 of their transfer fee on the pitch. Not sure the owners are to blame for that.

Well lucky the council have told Roman he can upgrade stamford bridge
to some where in the range of 60,000- 80,000. All of a suddon they dont want to lose Chelsea from the area or there tax zone...amazing how that works.
