Apologies Connie, I know I should be offering you support at this difficult time. Here is the number for The Samaritans 0044 5647 1881. Select option 2 from the menu " if you are a Liverpool fan press 2" ;)

At times like these it's hard to find solace Johnnyboy .. I guess the only comfort - and it is a stretch - for us poor suffering Liverpool fans is that should we drop to the CCC we'll have 6 points already in the bank from the Burnley fixtures :D

No chance Liverpool dropping down, too many other crap teams.

Would love to see it though. Liverpool v S.c.u.n.thorpe has a good ring to it.....

I think there's a clear element of what you're suggesting involved at Anfield Bully, but I and most LFC fans knew that even whilst Hodgson was still in charge.

I don't think we can lay any blame or judgement at the feet of Kenny after 2 matches .. Sure they were two losses, but let's be realistic who doesn't lose at Old Trafford (odd surprise excepted) and several better fancied teams have walked away from Blackpool this season without the choccies.

I think there will be (or at least should be) a decent size broom sweeping through the Anfield locker room in the off-season.

Realistically anyone other than Gerrard, Reina, Kuyt and Torres should be feeling some degree of concern about their future at the club (in fact even Torres wouldn't necessarily be safe).

From what I saw of this morning's game Liverpool still looked markedly better than they did at Ewood in their last EPL outing (lol a scary thought I know).

Cant blame the ref today lads :D

At start of season had a $500 bet with a west ham mate that blackpool would stay up. I know still a long way to go but im ready to collect.

The ref is the youngest in the EPL at 25 and did a brilliant job.
Maybe because he has hair and his last name isn't Webb.

Add that young Right Back Kelly to the list of keepers CP. From what I have seen he looks like one of the few positives for Liverpool this year. They should sell Johnson now if they can get a good offer - Terrible defender, that game against Balckburn was laughable.

For whatever reason Torres just doesnt look interested anymore (chelski game aside) and i will be surprised if he remains after this season. At least that would bring in a big injection of money altho a big chunk of that would then need to be spent on another quality striker.

Yeah I was going to include Kelly mate, but I haven't seen him with my own eyes yet so erred on the side of caution (the wraps for him have been excellent though).

It was widely reported that Torres didn't want to be there under Hodgson right from the get go (and got worse as time went on), so Im hoping that explains some of his performances (even if it does suggest he's a sulk) .. It's also well reported that he near worships Kenny, so hope that might translate into something better - To be honest I reckon he's just had a gutful of playing virtually as a lone striker for the last 3 years on the back of a long-ball hoof system that gives him bugger all chance.

Johnson, Poulsen, Skrtel, Lucas, Konchesky, Miereles would be my first 6 in the firing line .. But to be a decent team we need to also systematically and methodically replace Cole, Carragher, N'Gog, Rodriguez and Babel also.

Many of them can state their case for retention, but using someone like Babel for example - Maybe he can be decent at the highest level, but he hasn't develop in 4+ years at the club, so it's highly unlikely he'll amount to much at Anfield.

I agree mate its not kennys fault :D He should be the best to get you guys through the long sleepless nights at anfield at the moment.

Its the merseyside derby this weekend yeah? This could be one of the best derbys for a while as im sure everton would love to take advantage of LFCs predicament at the moment

Yeah interesting game .. No Cahill, no Gerrard, Kenny's first game back at Anfield .. Hopefully Kuyt can continue his scoring record in the derbys.

Reckon Kenny was probably saving Cole and Babel for this game, but no SG means we'll continue to field one of the crappest midfield's around.

Jimbo, you can wish can't you. My tip, Spurs to out United United and score with a disputed penalty in the 7th minute of injury time and Sir Alex to loose it big time.
