Better effort in the last 30 mins or thereabouts, although i think Man U's coasting helped us get a bit of momentum

Sending off after 9 minutes for basically nothing has killed the game

Penalty maybe, straight red never

He tackled him to the ground afl style. What did he think was going to happen.

Poor tackle left the ref with no option.

Hats off to your guys for deciding to have a red hot crack over the final 30 minutes.
Very insipid first hour by Liverpool, no matter the position on the table you guys normally are far more spirited and make life difficult.
Cant believe Rogers saying you deserved a point atleast though, sure you had a good patch but were virtually non existant in the first half

Yeah not sure what the Gaffer is on about there, hopefully he realised it's BS but has some reason for saying that.

The Fox crew were saying last night Liverpool haven't beaten a team in the top 10 .. How damning is that??

Both all over each other , afl tackle maybe , but didn't see any man shitty players complaining about it much. like i said, a penalty yes, not a straight red card.

I was a bit surprised when I heard that as usually Liverpool beat the top teams but lose to the strugglers.

Unreal result for Soton. They have improved a lot recently after they looked in big trouble not that long ago.

Yep, results starting to come now. Started the season playing well but with no reward (see man utd, city & wigan games), hit a flat spot with a few poor results and have now stepped up with a point v arsenal (should have been all 3), a win at villa and now to come from 2 down at chelsea and earn a point - things look brighter at St.Mary's. Ramirez is a great signing and Lambert keeps scoring. Need to get Lallana back from injury asap and aim for a top half of the table finish.

Another massive day for both our teams, a bit harsh they make us play two big games with an FA Cup game inbetween.

hopefully it is a bore draw... That way if Everton win (and playing Southampton away when they seem to be in good form won't be easy) we make ground on Chelsea and move further away from Arsenal. With Man Utd playing Tottenham this week too we could see ourselves back in 4th, come on Man Utd
