god we miss fabs, song, RVP, walcott.

Hence the hahahahahaha. You answered your own question-marks!!

im laughing tho because we didnt get beaten, not that we only drew. We play like rubbish, and we draw. Thats a positive thing not a bad thing. If we kept loosing then there would be a problem.

We have a seriously hard run coming up. Bolton away, which is NEVER easy for us there. Bolton are our boogy team. Then Aston Villa away, another game thats not easy. Man United at home. thats anyones game when we play them. Chelsea away, always hard and then Liverpool at home. If we get 3 wins out of these games i will be very happy.

Missed the game this morning thanks to a very serious lightning storm. Took out a power pole near my house and the power went out from the start of the game until the finish. Good to see we won tho!

Well im starting to think that maybe the chelsea drilling at the emirates in november has maybe helped us in a way? we have not lost since, looking outstanding and if we win on wed night we will go equal top with them !!

we havent been top of the league at this time of the season since a few years ago we we traveled to st andrews to play birmingham and we had 'that' dreadful day, injury and game.

come on the gunners!!!!

The depressing thing is that this current patch of form has been without R Van Persie.

The Gooners are looking brilliant. Fabregas is unbelievably good.

The only glimmer of hope is that when the Arse was in a similar position in 2007/2008 (was it? ), they bottled it big time in Feb.

A good articel by Des Kelly

kind of sums it up.

Sol Campbell deal is a sign of hard times

Will the next Premier League sponsor be Saga or Poligrip Ultra denture fixative cream?
I ask because old players appear to be wandering into the English football retirement home with alarming regularity.
First it was Michael Owen, then Patrick Vieira and now Sol Campbell is back at Arsenal.

Commentators and ex-pros hailed the Campbell deal as a ‘no brainer’ and an indication of acute cunning, using the flawed arguments that were trotted out when Owen walked into Old Trafford, pulling his groin in the process.
But they are nothing more than a neon sign that everyone’s broke these days.
Arsene Wenger wouldn’t have touched a player of Campbell’s age in seasons past.
At 35 he would still be regarded by Wenger as a dinosaur if he were able to wheel and deal.
Campbell remains in a robust enough physical condition, but he has lost that essential yard of pace required at the highest level.

If a forward turns him, Campbell has the reaction times of an advancing glacier.
The Premier League is no place to re-enact Jurassic Park. Campbell has not been preserved in amber and rebuilt with chromosomes extracted from his DNA.
He is a last resort.

It’s like wanting some chewing gum and settling for a blob that has been stuck under a bus seat for years. It hasn’t worked with Owen, it won’t with Vieira and I doubt it will with Campbell, either.

I'd opt for the Pool v Spuds game if I were you BD. You can cheer on the reds and the alternative is watching boring b4st4rds at Villa
