A-League 2022-23

Postby RB » Thu Jul 28, 2022 1:08 pm

Fixture has dropped.

Adelaide United to play three consecutive away games to open the season, starting with the Phoenix.

Our 'triple-up' games (rigged draw) this season are Victory and Perth (playing each twice at home) and Wellington and Western (playing each twice away).

I would think so. The roof is up, but everything else is a mess. Fair bit to do on the new corporate facilities by the looks.

Frankly amazing we didn't score today. It's a long time since I've seen us miss so many chances. Totally outplayed Macarthur and went down 2-0.

I'm more concerned at the VAR not asking him to take another look.

What a weekend

Original Derby
Sydney Derby

Two great games and excellent crowd .. Atmosphere was electric

Adelaide enter the World Cup break on a high and with a couple more players to come back.

One lad to keep an eye on when he resumes from injury is Yull .....

Chelsea put an offer to buy but Adelaide have refused it so far

Obviously, the decision to play the next 3 GF's in Sydney has gone down like a led balloon.

From a business point of view, it makes a lot of sense to know where the grand final is going to be hosted in advance.

Spectators/fans are up in arms however and protests expected over the coming weeks.

So instead of peacefully protesting the GF move by the FFA these idiots lob flares at players and invade the pitch trying to attack players and looks like the game will be abandoned

Use the footage and ban every idiot that ran onto the field from ever entering a soccer stadium in Australia.
As for the idiot that hit the keeper with a bucket, just lock him up!

You would think Victory play home games with no crowds for at least the rest of the season, and their fans possibly barred from away games too. The City keeper will also get a hefty ban.

He threw a flare back into the front row, the invasion ensued.
