Someone mentioned earlier how much we missed Fyfe and I'd have to agree with that.

Mullen is the most missed player from our squad IMO. Absolute rock in defense.

Yep. The way he left us was a disgrace added to that the fact he scored against us. I think we are a bit precious in australia, had this been overseas not only would he have been booed but he would have copped vile abused everytime he touched the ball

Don't agree with the suggestion his leaving was a disgrace. We all know Australia isn't where players need to be if they want to make a real name for themselves. He had a great opportunity to make some good money and possibly set up a 10 year international career for himself. Chances like he had don't come often, for some it's one chance and one chance only.

If you had a career that might end any day, but likely to last 20 years at the most and someone offered you 4 times what you were earning currently, you'd be mad not to put in 2 weeks notice right away. No doubt we'd have preferred to keep him, no club enjoys losing players, but we should take pride in the fact one of our guys got a chance to further his career like that.

This idea that people leaving a sporting organisation are traitors is disgusting and hypocritical. Why is a sportsman supposed to be more loyal than other professionals? If anything it should be the opposite with the clubs not able to offer the same loyalty a company would do a good honest hard worker who perhaps isn't as good as someone else, not to mention the fact that most workers enjoy 50+ years in their profession if they choose and protection if hurt at work.

Dont disagree with all your points but there is a right and wrong way to go about it. Leckie is moving and he has handled himself remarkably well, no ill feelings and we wish him best of luck. Djite on the other hand got the sulks and fought and argued with management and basically carried on like a spoilt child, big differance between the two. Leckie is always welcome back, djite on the other hand get stuffed.

As much as it would be an excellent story to see the underdog get up, the Roar have been the best team all year and I'd be disappointed for them if they let it slip at the final hurdle. I've loved watching Brisbane play this year and I'm hoping they win it, as they are the highest quality team in the comp by a fair way.
