Melbourne really need to get up this weekend over Brisbane. This is one of those early important games, with both teams coming off a loss in Round 1. With such an even competition as the A-League you don't want to be dropping early points, especially Melbourne who would have played 2 home games to start the season.

From what i saw which wasn't much as i was intoxicated at Shooters on the Gold Coast the Mariners looked very impressive and seem to have a very solid center back pairing which all good sides generally have.
