United go 2-1 up in the 114th minute. Amazing pass by Carrusca for McGowan to score

McGowan straight red for a cynical foul in the 117th

Only caught it from around 70 mins as the fox TV guide was incorrect. Was quite watchable, lots of chances.

Great pass by Carrusca, that was top quality

Great for A-League clubs to get crowds of 4-5k to games before the league has even started

The Cup is proving to be a very good comp

Well done A-League doing real well

The remaining Round of 16 games were played tonight:

Metrostars 0-1 Oakleigh (Vic.) - crowd 1,218

Hume City (Vic.) 3-1 Sydney Olympic - crowd 1,625

Rockdale City (NSW) 2-3 Melbourne Victory - crowd 4,165

Palm Beach 0-2 Western Sydney - crowd 1,794

Metrostars got dicked - four minutes of stoppage time were to be added at the end of the game. There was an all-in brawl producing four yellow cards (but surprisingly not a red for what came before it - I don't know how four referees can miss these things) that took about four minutes, so that only two actual minutes were played. Metrostars were certainly pressing at the end there, but who knows.
