Hyundai A-League Round 4 Preview & Squads

With the end of August already looming Round 4 of Hyundai A-League 2009/10 is set to kick-off this Friday night when new boys North Queensland Fury travel to Hindmarsh Stadium to take on Adelaide United and head coach Aurelio Vidmar set to make it 50 Hyundai A-League matches in charge at the club.

Can North Queensland Fury get their first points for the year? Can Brisbane Roar turn their attacking form into goals against an unbeaten Central Coast Mariners and will Newcastle Jets be the first Hyundai A-League team to topple Gold Coast United when the Culina’s, Branko and Jason, go head-to-head for only the second time ever at national league level?

This is the Official Preview for the Hyundai A-League Round 4. Please note squads are subject to change.

Stats, Facts & Milestones

Round 3 saw the Hyundai A-League’s 5 millionth fan enter the turnstiles. Congratulations to Kate Sullivan of Salisbury Heights who won a trip for two to see the Qantas Socceroos take on Oman in their ‘do or die’ AFC Asian Cup qualifier at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne on 14 October.

good call, Im not sure why I tipped MV this year when I tipped Perth to play finals this year, they have a very handy squad, probably the 2nd or 3rd best going around IMHO.

Freddy Frog came on as a substitute and set up both goals. Hopefully he gets paid an assist bonus, then he can by me all those bloody drinks he owes me.

Speaking of messes, what a mess the A League ladder was in the Advertiser this morning. Don't they have any editors these days?
Congrats to the Gold Coast for playing 3 games winning none, losing 10 but having 9 points. :?
