Good to see Australia's B side kick the kiwis off the park. Lucky our guns didnt play it could have got ugly.
Think it will be the last time the socceroos come here for a while, the playing surface was a joke and not up to international standards, you cant play on grounds with pitches

Perfectly put Jim, watching international players falling A over T for no good reason was embarrassing. The pitch was shameful. As for the ground announcer   Who was that clown, totally clueless. Our seats in the new "wonderful" Western Stand were a joke with me looking through handrails for play on the western wing and my youngster looking through rails for the whole pitch..  .Gee you are also a hell of a long way from the play in the top deck and you get wet in the top deck when it rains with a strong enough breeze from the west.Thank god I am not a SACA member is all I can say.

That ground announcer was a joke. Langerak apparently replaced Valeri or Jedinak (can't remember which one).

It was 21200 or something. I don't know much but it felt like closer to 30 000 to me. The hill and stands were packed, except for 2 sections in the members

what about when the announcer announced 'New Zealand substitution' and then proceeded to say there was 1 minute of added time for the first half lol

The NZ defender had hold of the ball for a throw in and when he heard that looked straight over wondering what was going on lol

They definately did not think through the designing stage of the new stand, i think they wanted it to look attractive rather than serve its real purpose. I was sitting in the Chapell stand and i could see all the spectators up against the back wall to keep out of the rain cause it was coming in through the gap at the top, very poor effort i thought.

On another note i thought Zullo out on the left wing was great, had alot of pace and got himself into some great positions and Kennedy well right place right time i guess, and we can no longer call him jesus, although he was god last night :)
