Adelaide united absolute disgrace tonight. They have a terrible defence at moment. Pathetic, the main problem in cornthwaite. How this joker keeps getting a game is beyond me, he is not good enough for park football. Wont win anything as long as that hack is playing for us. With that red card he misses boxing day aswell as fyfe who picked up a yellow. Going to be a makeshift defence on boxing day where we could be going for 3 straight losses.

Referee has had a shocker. The standard of a-league has improved considerably This season unfortunately can't say the same about the refs. Been a cracking game tho. Not sure what rini was doing leaving cornthwaite on and fyfe off. Was always going to earn a card of some sort and that will hurt us next game.

Fyfe was the one being opened up. He was so far out of position when folwer scored he could only watch! The defence as a whole was pathetic, Barbiero is he serious? needs to be replaced he is terrible back there.

Agreed refs were average but they were only as average as our performance.... in saying that Sterjovski should have been sent off if not for the kick out but a second yellow when the ref paid advantage and never followed up his foul and it would have been a different game

Certainly not blaming the ref for the result, Perth most likely would have scored with 8 men the way they were getting behind our defence. Just there were some blatant decisions he got wrong - the sterjovski missed second yellow as you pointed out, the Burns backpass, Cornthwaite should have been carded for pulling down sterjovksi. A really poor performance.

Hopefully these new recruits are of a standard. I dont think Hughes is up to it, and Ramsey is better as a sub IMHO.
