I reckon it's harder to move up the league rankings during a high scoring week. Usually the Hogg leagues do better on the lower scoring rounds so not unusual the small increase.

Thanks REB. I am in 10 leagues across the place and unfortunately Hogg Premier was the only league I didn't finish top 4 of so after being Buddy Franklin'ed by Fish I made the executive decision to let that round go and not try to second hail Mary trade just for the Hogg premier so I could live to fight another day in the other leagues including Hogg Elite. As it has turned out I have made the GF in 6 of those 9 leagues with that saved trade still alive (1 of) for the last round.

Goes to show you really need that double chance just in case the first round of finals goes pear shaped as it did for me. That was my worst round relatively speaking for the last 10 weeks I reckon. Taranto just had to miss that particular round which confused my pre-planned trade scenarios delaying getting Grundy which was the difference in the end that round, at least for the Hogg Premier. Grundy would have equalised against Buddy's huge score that round.
