Round 9 Talk

Postby Alaska » Tue May 17, 2016 8:50 am

No respite from outs this week. Laird and Adams ruled out. Wells and Houli not sure of and Gaz under a cloud with concussion. Kruezer gone for 4 to 6 with a knee. Beams looks gone for the season.
Boyd and Redpath offered one week suspension.
Will Lyon let Barlow back?
Perhaps Jaryd Hayne will line up for Sydney?
Good news Mason Cox is good to go.

Does Hopper come in this week, or hold firm til he's played his two games?

After such an impressive start he has probably earned the right to come in after 1 game. I will probably hold off a week but that's because I have too many other issues

In SC there is no reason to bring him in this week unless you aren't planning on trading next week.

In AF for sure he comes in

Mills has a BE of 95 you need to move him on, the only real choice of a downgrade is Macpherson or Hopper. Macphersons JS is shaky, so whilst you wont make money on Hopper this week you'll lose money if you don't trade a rook that wont make his BE and if you play Hooper on ground its points on the board. IMO it all comes down to whether you are going to play him on the field or sit him on the bench

AF he is 275k, you have missed the boat

Afl fantasy.

Used to be just called dream team but virtual sports, the old provider, (now runs real dream team and supplies software for SuperCoach), had that trademarked

And yeah forgot hopper would be so pricey in AF. Their rookie prices are shite

Yeh I don't like the pricing in AF, you basically need to get onto a rookie before they've played a game to make any money off them. It would be much better if they played 1 game before a price rise

My god. Need to use my 2 trades just to get 22 on the park. Barlow, Adams, Ablett, Wells, Hall, Houli all on the pine. Effing Brad Crouch is on the never again list

I will have Currie as the only person not on the field playing. Got 22 on the field playing at the moment but if i lose one from anywhere but the ruck im stuffed. 3.6m on the pine this week.
